What seats did you end up getting James? I've given up on seats. I can't find any that a) my big ass fits in, b) are comfy, c) won't set me back $2000/pair.

 

I want to sell the Vaders and get Black Recaro SRDs but I gotta buy a roll bar and harnesses also.

 

Trip, if I were you, I would hold off on the seats and roll bar. There are better mods that you can spend your money on first, including driving schools.

Well, I would have to agree with you there. The seats that I really want are the Sparco EVO seats. But those seats are $550-$600 each without the brackets! And they are not reclineable (I have to be able to get my son in/out of the car seat in the back). I ended up getting a pair of some Torino knockoffs on ebay. They look good, are more durable than I expected, they save a ton of weight in the car, and more importantly, the cost of the seats and brackets equals what I am selling my Vaders for (keeps the wife happy ). The brackets have not come in yet but I plan to have the seats in the car by this weekend. The bases I bought are Sparco bases as well so when I do upgrade to the EVOs I woun't have any fitment issues.

 

Tell daddy that the safety stuff has to wait.... NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Gotta have seats, harness and bar first.

 

You're starting to sound like my wife! She's been nagging me to get a bar for a while now.

For what's it's worth, I talked to Tom Bleh at the event Sunday, he's supposed to check on the prices from Sports and Imports for an Autopower bar.. the more people that order the cheaper shipping will be since they have to come freight from SanDiego, CA.

I was I----I that close to getting one for the e30 before I bought this and I had an e30 forum deal going for a good price. Ill talk with tom next time Im out.
