Pre-registration for May 9th at VMP
i think ima drive mah civic this time, so i'll be able to compete w/ mah friends in STS..my 240 is SM and no true suspension work, so i usually don't compete very well..that'll be over in a few weeks though :P
well, today was fun out there. ran a 57.0 as my best run, my 2nd run. i can't believe i messed up the 3rd and 4th runs. Lesson learned: When Keith says he can go flat out through a section, that's just b/c he's Keith. i could have pulled a 56.5 or better out of that course. oh well, 57 ain't bad. we'll see how that does in PAX.
jim and i got a lot of people on video too, so keep a look out for them.

BTW, I still have my stock 10-spokes for sale if you are looking for a cheap second set of wheels.
After looking at the results I dont feel so bad the Batmobile got taken down buy the red Celica. Keith got me be .5 seconds last week and he got Bimmer by .3 seconds.
I cant wait till next month, hopefully the Jokermobile and Batmobile can do battle once again. BOOOHOOOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa

wow, i guess i was a lot faster than i thought. if i did run a 56.5 which i know was there for me pretty easily, i would have PAXed 8th, and been within 2 tenths of richard west and right on tom bleh's ass.....whoa. heh. i'll settle for a 15th pax. i did get 3% closer to Richard West and 4% closer to McGeorge compared to last time. that is a huge improvement. thank god for Ground Control coilovers, haha.
brent, i told you, it's just hit the gas, and hope i make it, lol. that final drive in your dad's accord was actually a smoother run than in my car, line-wise. with proper brakes and a few more tweeks, that may be a good STS car. i was only 1 second behind terry baker in it, hehe. yah! for accords.
also, did you happen to see how much the car tucked the front wheels on the turns? I'm trying to figure out if i run the wide ass hoosiers if i'm going to rub the fender, or if i'll have to lift the car up more.

Good course. You should have seen the first version when we pulled up. Without getting into harsh criticism, we're all lucky that they revised it.
Most of the guys in the top 10 had run yesterday in a DC event and were ready to roll. I believe that is the BEST I have ever seen Keath run. He killed.
I was credited w/ a DNF which a member of the competition board said will be changed. Best was a 58.007.

BTW, My co-driver ran a 56.8 Dirty. That SCARY on street rubber!
