Possible Drift Car?
Oh, and if you want to know Z cars then stay the hell away from www.automotiveforums.com. That site is for ricer tools and fanboi sack riders like Hodo.
You want some REAL help with your Z then check out www.hybridz.org

Unfortantly your another sad sad kid who thinks HYBRIDZ is the end all be all of Z forums. HybridZ is good for building hybrid z's and for some help. But TT.Net better site for help on the Z32, Z31.com as Vernon pointed out IS the site for the Z31 chassis.
And TTT who the HELL ARE YOU?!
Did the guys on automotiveforums make fun of your car, your mom, or your life? If so then suck it up, its the internet.
It handles better, and was better looking. Now as for it being the last REAL Z. The Z33 was not intended to come to be, it was begged by Mr. K to make it a reality after Renault BOUGHT OUT NISSAN in 1999.

he said "You want some REAL help with your Z then check out www.hybridz.org"
so why the fuck are you even mentioning twinturbo.net. he own's a z31, not a z32. obviously you know there's a huge fucking difference between not only the two cars, but the two group of enthusiasts, so mentioning a z32 site is entirely irrelevant to this conversation.
furthermore, while z31.com is a site specifically for z31's, having been a member there (and for shits and giggles, since you mentioned it, i also spent years on tt.net), i can hardly imagine them being kind to someone that says nothing more than they want to make a drift mobile out of their car. i think automotiveforums is the perfect place for him to hang out as thats the place i often remember z31.com members telling ricers and drift fanboys to go.
and in further expanding upon the suggestion to go to hybridz.org, he put emphasis on the word real. i think z31's do need real help to be good at anything, having owned an 86 turbo for two years. a 3.3 swap, pathfinder intake, RB swap, small block, z32/s13 rear subframe install to make them good at anything, hence the emphasis on real help.
Kas,
I did point out TT.NET is for Z32s Z31.com is for Z31s. I didnt tell him to go to TT.net and ask how to drift his Z31.
The Stock Z32 TT was a nimble car for its day, and well ahead of its time. The SCCA track events are not a test of a stock cars abilities leave that to the experts who do skid pad tests, track tests, and brakeing tests..... which the Z33 does WAY out perform the Z32 in.... that thing can stop. When its transmission is working.
There are alot of ricers on Automotiveforums yes. But I posted that link because tell me another site that has all those links in one post.
Its so easy a caveman can do it.

One last thing Kas.
The Z33 is not a Z to me for several reasons.
Lack of wow factor. It had nothing new that hadnt been done or scene. Even its body was bland.
It didnt set the standard in its target market when it came out. Its in the same price range as the Mustang, and the Camaro. Yet both of them out performed it and they were a DECADE OLD and almost 500 or more pounds heavier.
Substandard construction, its interiour was cheap, cheaply built, and cheap looking. Its Manual transmission in its first years were CRAPTASTIC! Weak synchros, substandard throwout bearings. Not what I want in a sportscar.
Yes the Z32 hit these marks, and YES it had its problems. But It was targeted at the Corvette, Jaguar market. It out performed all others in its market when it came out in 1989. It had the WOW factor, nothing else on the road looked like it. Its engine was something that was not seen before, a TWIN TURBO V6 making 300BHP in a car made by a common car company. Not to mention it was the first sports car in the world to have the front multi-link suspension and one of the first cars to have all wheel steering. The drivers cockpit setup was new and ahead of its time back in 1989, now is a company standard for almost ALL manufacturers.
Drawbacks and flaws were, craptastic fuel injectors on the early models (1990-1994) . Power Transitor Units (PTU) on the earlier Z32s.
The Z31, once again was something new and had the WOW factor.
Fully Digital dash. T-tops on a import. A turbocharged engine V6, mated to a Manual 5 speed transmission. And it was reasonbly priced.
S130 280ZX again talking warning systems, automatic seatbelts, A turbocharged inline 2.8L 6cylinder engine. And again decent price and out performed the others in its market.
And it kept going all the way back to the begining of the Z car line with the 240Z in 1970.
You compair a 17 year old suspension to a new car suspension sure its going to out perform it. The two cars specs when they were both new, the Z32 out performed the Z33, in almost everything except braking. The Z33 as I said before can stop.
