Congrats man!! .... have yet to run any SE, have done just MA myself ..... if you could somehow swing it itd HIGHLY recommend VIR.

Plus with you moving up you would be on track with me, shawn22, and Mr Harris (vbspec's father).

oh ill deff be attending VIR again, ive done a couple Hyperdrives on FULL and i live 1.5 hours away so thats a given. prob be next season though, It being 2 weeks away i know i wont be able to make it ($$$ TIGHT) as much as i want to. Deff recommend SE though, laid back atmosphere and of course track selections are great (nccar, road atlanta, cmp, etc) and its somehting different. I may do the Hyperdrive this october again just for another taste before season is over. Hope to have HPDE3 and TT license by next yaer.

Ive been to NCCAR for a private rental, VERY NICE place, and the owner was a super nice guy, just have never personally had a car on track there. Been around it .... just not driving.

Ive raced CMP for LeMons, but they do a 1.2 mile course not the whole track, again nice place.

Ive heard rumor that a few guys I usually race with are doing a Road Atlanta trip next year, if this is true I will definatly be doing Road Atlanta next year.

yea deff a nice place (NCCAR), they were talking over the weekend how there planning on adding more to it, so im hoping to see that happen. id love to run Road Atlanta someday, deff a haul though from VA and for a weekend. but next time i hit up an HPDE ill request ya if thats cool.

Not me, im not an instructor .... im in DE myself .... just started at the begining of the year .... in 2 .... prob go to 3 first thing next year, right now im just having a blast on track with my friends. Me and two others all in miatas all run together usually (Shawn22 being one of them) and I usually have one of 3 or 4 guys instruct me that we all hang out at the track together.

We saw the future plans in the owners office of NCCAR it also includes a dirt cirlce track .

Smart, dont jump too quickly. Its always fun to shoot fish in a barrel than to be in that barrel :P. No, but seriously I see way too many people jump too quickly and they end up learning things in racing/hpde 3/4 that they should have larned in HPE 1/2 and shit happens badly.

At first I didnt like the track this weekend (I was the white 186 M3 HPDE3), but as I drove it more I ended up liking it. Its still not a summit or VIR but a fun track none-the-less.

Each track has its own character, and NCCAR reminds me of a go-kart track on steroids! Wide, multiple line choices, lots of g's. The fact that its almost as close to me as VIR is also a plus. Its been on my list of do-not-miss events since the inagural event last spring. It being HPDE only also assures lots of tracktime for the dollar!
