I find it stunning that r-compound tires are only a 10-pt mod in NASA classing, and keep you in the same class as street stock. I'm perfectly happy racing street tires, but it seems like there should be more of a penalty.

Is the "catch" that everyone who gets serious about racing the NASA series puts exactly 19pts worth of mods into their car?

 

Made a change in tire selection based on reviews I've read. Hope these do the trick!
