Nasa 09 track schedule.
Start counting your pennies now.
I figure I'd save Jon the trouble and open it up for discussion.
I'm gonna try and cut back a little this year, but I know I will be attending most of these.
Defeintly excited about the April Summit event since I love the main course more and more each time I go.
I'll do the either the Feb or the March event, might miss the August event. Still have to see the Track Dayz schedule also.

I'll be cutting back a LOT. I hope to race at Feb or Mar, then who knows what will happen.
I only ran half the '08 season (Feb-May) between nasa, pca, trackdaze, svtoa and I still did 7 events and went broke trying to keep my car running. It sucked the fun out of it.

Re: Nasa 09 track schedule.
I'm working mad OT and saving up my money now to fix the mustang completely so I can get back out there. Hopefully I'll be out at VIR in Febuary, but definitely in March. And i'm gonna hit up one of the Summit Point events this year too.
I want to do at least 4 of these this year, and as long as I dont break my car or wreck (again), i should be able to. I'm gonna do the smart thing and instead of spending more money on the car to make it handle better, i'm just gonna spend more money on the driver so I can control it better. Its more fun that way anyway.

Re: Nasa 09 track schedule.
I need to make a list so I don't forget.
Shit I need to do before February:
New R'sssssss either NT01's again or R888.
fix rear quarter panel (maybe)
new non-leaking strut (cough-TC Kline-cough)
front upper strut mounts
front caliper seals
DIY brake ducts
change diff, tranny, brake fluid
new seat mount (maybe)
single exhaust (another maybe)
If for some crazy reason I have some $$$ laying around some new front pads and rotors.
I think that's it.

Re: Nasa 09 track schedule.
My list is a little bit shorter than that:
Get some good brake fluid and flush/bleed the brakes (ATE super Blue or Motul probably)
Have Keinan install some subframe connectors
Aluminum steering rack bushings
Have Keinan figure out the clunk in my car if he can
rebuild one of my transmissions and put that in the car
clean/replace the MAF if needed
fix the fuel guage so I know that i'm coming close to E before hearing the fuel pump start whistling
Tidy up the engine bay and rip out any useless wires.
Ok so I lied, I have alot of shit to do to the car.
