Ok I just got my helmet. I ordered a motorcycle helmet from HJC. It is snell m2000 and dot certified, it has a sticker on the back that says "SNELL aproved DOT". Is this going to be a legal helmet. I was told there should be a sticker under the lineing but I cant find it. Hope its Ok it is very comfortable and it looks cool.

for autocross that would be a legal helmet. I use a dirt-bike helmet with the rating on it.

 

That should be fine. As long as it can be identified as a SNELL approved DOT 2000 you are OK.

 

It dosent say dot 2000 it just says DOT and Snell Aproved in small letters above that. I cant find anything on the inside or under the lineing.

It's under the lining on my HJC but it is hard to see. Try it outside in a better light.
