Will you have an instructor? If so, listen to them and ask them every question you can think of.
Otherwise... eyes up, look way ahead, be smooth, make gradual changes from lap to lap (i.e. braking 1 foot later not 10 feet later, accelerating 0.1sec earlier not 1sec earlier, etc.)
Have fun!

J/K don't take that last statement seriously....
I just have echo everything Jon said. Little changes allow you understand what the changes are doing without getting you into a lot of trouble. But most of all is have fun and drive home in same condition you came to the track in!

Yes indeed - as the legendary Peter Krause likes to say, "Your trophy is your shiny car driving back across the bridge at the end of the day, in the same condition minus some tires/brakes/gas."

that was fun made it back with no damage! learned a ton.
i also got to do 2 hot laps (no traffic) with world challenge driver andy pilgrim in his cts-v racer
that was CRAZY
5 sessions worth of brake dust, looks like i picked the right wheel color to hide it

Re: going on my first twistie, summit point
it was great, id love to do it again, but as great as the caddy did for me all day, i felt bad for beating on it so much.
i would have to build something i could afford to lose before i get any more agressive with the sport.
two guys in the red group (most advanced) left with totalled v's that started out the day nicer than mine.
