Default engine swap classification?

okay i'm not all up to snuff on my rules these days.. it's been a while.. but would an rx-7 fist gen with a ford 5.0 v8 be forced into EM or is there some newfangled street mod class it would fit into?

I think EM.. The new SM classes say that the motors have to be from the same manufacturer or marketing partner (i.e. Honda/Acura).

Egads! That RX-7 should be entertaining. I'm waiting for my friend to finish his 911 swap... out with the flat six, in with a 390ci stroker making 500+ hp! Mmmm... terrifying speed. Turbo body work and super-sized tires out back to boot!
