do any companies offer any contingency sponsorship for drifting like they do in autocrossing or road racing. you know like hoosier gives you one tire for a national win if your running hoosiers. or a free coupon for a cheeseburger at big al's truck stop down the road from road atlanta or anything in between. I am not talking fully sponsored rides just talking for the entry level guys. And if so where do you find it. i went onto us drift but they have sponsors but no links to what they sponsor other than putting money into the event to help pay for it and gain publicity. i dont see where they do anything for the entrants.

Well put it this way...

Contingency sponsorships, just like you stated, are given when you WIN...

Once you start winning, start sending proposals out to companies. I know almost every tire company gives out contingency checks one way or another.

One that comes to mind is Hankook gives extra money or something if you win US Drift Nationals at Hyperfest on Hankook tires.

 

They do for the entrants in that the events have enough money to exist.
