Just wondering, because I have a finicky car, what could break when auto-xing... I know the obvious tires, but is that pretty much it? And how high RPMS are you at during the thing... i.e. I don't really want to redline it for a minute straight
RPMs will be dependent on the vehicle. However, most cars are geared such that you stay in second gear most of the time. On the larger courses you may get up to 3rd, but that is pretty rare.
On some really tight courses (like at Fentress or ODR) you may even have to downshift to 1st, but that is very car dependent.

Anything can break just like regular driving...
Brakes and tires are probably going to be the biggest thing to WEAR on the car but things breaking is all up to you. Before every event make sure everything is tight. You shouldnt break anything unless it needed to be replaced before you auto xed in your car. If you feel your car cant handle auto xing then DONT USE IT until you feel it is ok to handle it.

Just come out and beat on the damn thing. Your car has a rotary, it'll spin to the moon..
In 4 years of regular autocrossing I've never broken anything while running... It definatly causes premature wear on pads, rotors, and tires, but that should be obvious.

i messed up my sideskirts....but that was cause i had too much air in the rear tires, and it came around---alot...my bumper is messed up on the right side(slick coarses in south carolina), but other than that...my brake pads, rotors, calipers, and tires are about the only "danger"....besides those cones that attack me soo often
a thorough shake down of the suspension would be the best bet to make sure all looks well and it tight etc...just take an extra set of pads a set of rotors(f/r) and a couple of tires. those are used the most and you will go through them. Not to mention making sure lugs and everything looks fine before each run..tires/fluids/brakes/calipers working)
good luck on your autoX ventures..
