I'll be checking on the process of the construction since I work in that area.

I was there yesterday and I managed to peak inside and it's freaking huge! Almost the entire inside of Ames is now a track. The track and inside is complete, all they are really working on is making the exterior look nice, which is a lot of work.

Next Friday I'll stop by and hopefully they will have it open that weekend, since I'll be busy as hell the following week. I'll keep everyone posted.

 

Well, Guess thier May 31 dead line for opening was alittle off huh?
Glad to hear my membership and Super cart status or going to swing over to this location. In March they were unsure if it was going to or not.
NO MORE 2 Hour road trips to go race. Yay!!!

Directions from the interstate:

Through the Downtown tunnel towards Portsmouth, Victory Blvd Exit, Take a right at the end of the exit ramp onto Victory Blvd., Pass Ruby Tuesday on right, over railroad tracks, at stop light take left onto Airline Blvd., about 4 blocks on right.

I don't beleive it's going to be open tomorrow.

I spoke with the owner on sight last thursday, and he said they were planning on a soft opening this weekend, with the grand opening next month.

So basically the inside should be done this weekend with the exterior being completed by July.
