Hi guys,

I just caught wind of this, and I would like this to be my first auto-x event...I'm looking at the Sept. 9th date. Is there anything a newbie like me show look out for?

I'm going to register as NOVICE, but I'm still running on a track with skilled people?

Anyone from PWC going to this?

The tech inspection, other than that just have fun. Remember you're not pressured to go fast, you can go your own speed at first to learn the course and your car. Once you learn to read the cones its easy, this was my second event and I just got used to everything in the last few runs and my times were fairly consistent. My advice is to read the cones and look ahead. I just installed my wheels, tires and suspension so I'm hoping I can make it to this event, let me know if you want to cruise up there.

It's pretty much one at a time. 25-35sec start intervals depending upon course design. You're trying to beat the clock, not anyone else specifically (and you will only be scored against other Novices anyway.)

Good question,

Jon

You'll have a blast. I took my IS at the last event and I took my 240 a few times before. I'd sign up and go with you but I have plans this Sunday.

Cool deal...I didn't know you were on this forum. I plan to go to FATT end of this month at Summit Point...would you be interested?
