PAX = handicap
HAX = cheating

 

Its a handicapping system used to compare your times with other car classes. Your time is multiplied by a number due to what car class you are in. It is used to even up the playing field a little bit.

 

It didnt even up shit for me Thanks to my SM classing, I have a horrible PAX because my car is supposed to be fast

 

Right, the key to autocrossing is having a well prepared car that isnt too heavily modified for what it is. I have an integra with all suspension upgrades which puts me in STS class. I finished 12th in Pax and like 18th raw time. But this is if you are really serious in where you want to finish. If you are just having fun, then go for it.
