And what makes the dirt tires better than say Hoosiers or another track tire for asphalt/pavement?

Damn band clamps are worn out ran out of time messing with the oil leak and forgot about the exhaust can't weld it because you got to be able to take it off to get the transmission out.... Will definitely have it done plus another safety on it by next week...
Went with the dirt track tires because they're sticky without building heat but they wear fast and the price is right probably wouldn't go with them again though ... They were only in about 110 per tire verses the 3 or 400 most people pay for the Hoosiers and also available in a 15 inch rims

I was wondering what happen to your civic bro... Last week you were in the 17's, but I just figured the track wasn't there last night due to all this damn rain we've been having. PM me your setup if you don't mind that hatch with the supercharger rips bro... Last night was my 2nd time ever attending a wacky wednesday event. I'm more of a straight line kind of racer where I race a lot on friday nights at MIR in buddscreek maryland for their midnight madness (go home to Northern Va a lot during the weekends, but I work down here at the NN shipyard during the weekdays).

I hope that's it or part of it.. That was not fun being that violently loose. If It didn't have the power it has I wouldn't have been able to recover from the 15+ times it tryed to go around on me.
Its a 98spec r with 10.5-1 cp pistons and a 98 trans with a 96r or delsol vtec 4th and 4.9 final drive. Then there's the c30-94 rotrex. kraftwerks will release a kit soon for the b series now that Oscar Jackson is no longer with the company.

The tracks normally pretty bad after it rains. We used to run into it a lot with the trucks when we raced saturdays. If they race saturday and it doesn't rain any after that it will be a totally different track next week. Probably totally different than ever before since the big modified are racing this week. A 15x15 full slick will lay some rubber down.
