I went to my locate autozone to find a new valve cover gasket for my ZC... and apartly they are all retarded...and couldnt find the motor in there computers.. i was wondering a B16 valve cover gasket would fit the ZC (1.6L dohc non vtec.)

No, they are not retarded. The ZC was never imported into the US, so when you ask for any part for a ZC, they will not find it in there computer. You will have to ask for parts off the first gen integras, which came with d16a1's I think. Not sure of the last number.

 

i asked them for that and they looked at me funny..haha i was like it is the same damn thing as a d16 (dohc) and he just stared at me blankly. and then i was like well in your oppion would a b16 valve cover gasket fit. *stares blankly* lol

whenever i replaced my valve cover gasket i just got it for an 89 integra same motor, really the only difference is the intake manifold bubbles on a ZC

true, but... i assumed a b16 would fit a zc becuase it is also a 1.6L dohc. But i had my doubts. But i got my valve cover gasket from a 88 intergra motor.
