Default Wtf does this noise mean?

Hey- just wondering if anyone knew... When my car first starts, and I push the clutch in, sometimes there is a noise... like a light grinding... i can actually feel it vibrating in the shifter too...when i release the clutch it stops, and it doesnt do it after the cars warmed up...but its definitely pretty loud....you can hear it and feel it in the clutch pedal and in the shifter...its not a hard griding, just sounds kinda like a scratching almost...any ideas what it could be? Thanks...

oh yeh... its a 1995 nissan 240sx w/ sr20det...

you didn't have a new clutch installed before you had the swap put in? i'd have to agree with what the others said though. hopefully you can find someone to do it and not get hit over the head at the same time. good luck.
