Default WTF? crx speedometer quit

91 crx si, speedometer quit working...no fuse for it, took out the gauge cluster and the cable running to the back of the speedometer is fine....odometer quit working to...not a bad thing but i need the speedometer....if anyone knows what the deal is let me know .....thaks

i believe the spedometer for most cars is within the tranny case... well, the speed measuring mechanism anyway.

Most of the time it's the conector on the tranny. Chk. there first.

i agree, you may have snapped the cable. i have seen this happen a few times.

when looking at the trans look towards the furthest part back on the firewall close to the block..... kinda buy where the rear mount is... there will be a cable going into the trans and a little C clip thing

ok, so when the motor/trans was pulled from my car, did you see anything as to why mine doesnt work?!!?!??!?!!?
