yep. If it's a hondata system, you need a obd2 ecu, and a good cat and o2 sensors, or you "garage" your car in another county that doesnt require emissions and pay their property taxes. You have to do that at dmv btw

found the ecu. wasnt even bolted in. just under the carpet. well the ecu says "real p28" on it. is p28 obd1? do i need a obd2?

to pass emissions on an 96 and up car, you need an obd2 ecu
