is it possible to fix or 'clean up' a set of wheels that have some atrocious curb checks on them? 3 of four look like this. plans are to powder coat them black or gun metal if that helps the situation at all.

you can fix them....jus WET sand them with i think 1000grit sandpaper........after you get it as cloce as possible jus use some alluminum polish..............keep in mind that you probably won't be able to completly fix them if the scares are too deep.....but they will look a lot better than they did.....you can also wet sand then powder coat

dude........you can do it yourself. it is not that hard man........all you have to do is get a cup of water and some 1000grit sand paper....dip sand paper into cup and sand down the damaged part of your rims.....Dude it takes a little bit of time but you will feel much better when you stand back after you've finished and realize that you jus did something for your car by yourself.......Or if you want...I'll do it for you.......for 20$ a rim....LOL.....

 

dude ther is a place on pembroke in hampton that refurbishes wheels. I'm not sure about prices though.
