Wheel studs
How to replace a whell stud on a 93 honda civic Eny one know i got it out. and i try to put the stud in and it wolnt go in striaght and i dont want to mess up the treads on the stud and i heard i had to take off the hub is that true

the correct way is to press the hub off, replace the studs, press hub back on... usually the bearing gets fucked up when you press the hub off, it would be a good time to put new wheel bearings in.

i did my arp studs on my ef, and didnt fuck up the wheel bearings.
but if you dont know what you are doing then yes, you will fuck up the stud, bearing, maybe even the hub.
all you need is a slide hammer, hub tamer kit, impact gun and about 20 minutes. but thats just me
i recommend that you take it to a shop to do it.
