Right now i have a stock f22b2, which is non-vtec, in my accord, and when racin my friends and their civics, i can take them but they still keep up, jsut not in third gear. if i wear to swap to the H22A motor, how much of a difference would i figure to see, and whats the difference from H22a and H23 in performance, and tuning ability. thanks guys

i *think* the h22 is 200 hp and the h23 is 160 hp, but don't quote me on that....your car will be capable of a lot more power if you go with either one...not much you can do to up the power of an f22b (please no bisi comments).....

I got a 200 HP engine for the Accord for sale right now, out the door that I guarantee will ace every N/A Accord on the street. Engine/tranny/ECU (GSR) for $3,000. Interested?

preludes
92-96 h23 = si = 160hp 151lbs/ft dohc nonvtec
93-95 h22a or h22a1 (obd1) = 190hp usdm 200hp jdm
96+ h22a4 (obd2) = 195 hp usdm
the h22 type s as referred to above is 220ps or 217hp. but cost a hell of a lot to buy. almost not worth it imo.
uhm... drop a h22 in. it bolts up. hell.. if your strapped for cash you can even buy a longblock h22 and run your f series tranny on it.. but i'd recommend getting the whole swap.
and the performance is night and day from a f22b. your talking 145hp and 137lbs/ft or so compared to 200hp and 151-53 lbs/ft depending and of cource the vtec y0.
