What tranny and head to use with boost?

whats the best tranny and head to use with a turbo set up on a single cam. i have an HX head and DX tranny

a SOHC VTEC transmission. i'd recommend getting a d16y8 tranny over the d16z6 tranny only because the y8's are newer and will generally have far fewer miles and less wear/tear on them.

yup mike is correct on the miles idea but id go with the d16y8 tranny because it also has steel shift forks inside instead of the aluminum forks found in the older d16z6 units. you can use a d16y7 tranny as well but will have wider gear ratios, yet they still have the steel shift forks
