Don't be jealous til you see em on the car!

Much props to RAYS. I am very impressed w/ the quality of these wheels. From the design, to the cuts, to the packaging, everything was top-notch. Even the valve stems are some weird 90 degree stems w/ RAYS engraved on the covers. If all of their wheels are made with the same high-quality construction, then I recommend any of their rollers (Volk, Gram Lights, etc.).

I'm not sure offhand what the weight difference is; but after seeing both, I'm sure the Gram Lights are lighter than the Volks. These are the lightest 18's I've ever lifted. The 57c's should be very light too; the spokes are much thinner than the PROs.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

and on the 35 series note. that's not too bad with a 275 tire. that 35 represents the percentage of the tires width. For instance, a 215/40/17 has a shorter sidewall than a 235/40/17. a 35 series on a 275 tire is probably quite a bit more sidewall than your typical 17 inch tire/wheel package on a Honda. the reason you rarely see a sidewall rated less than 35 is that under extreme forces and high heat a tire built like that will wear really unevenly

Just saw this... but I run 325/50's on 15x8's and 275/60/15s on 15x8s (325s are hoosiers)

I know 245's are about the widest you can get on an 8" wheel. I read somewhere the way to figure out the biggest tire you can fit on a wheel is to convert the width mm into inches (i.e. 275mm = how many inches?). then, divide the wheel width by the tire width and it should be right around 90%. There's an actual formula to do that by, I just don't remember what it is.
VERY nice choice in wheels also, probably what I won't end up with, but would really like. What kind of prices do they go for? I've been looking at some Konigs, but I want something 10" in the rear... 17x8 front and 17x10 rear (once I get the fender flares).

What kind of offset are you running. that picture of the "deep dish" looks just the opposite to me. I don't see much lip at all. I'm guessing in the mid fifties for an offset

+40

The lip on the 18's is pretty big.

I was talking for low-profile tires Truck tires don't count. On low-pros, the tire will start to cup once you go over the sizes I'd said.
