If you have a properly done OBD1 conversion or the right OBD1 parts on that engine, the P30 is perfect for that. If you want to stay completely OBD0, look for a PR3 or PW0 (Japan market). Getting the proper parts to turn that engine into a OBD1 engine is pretty easy to do, there are only minor changes between OBD0 and OBD1 B16s.

if you have a conversion harness for the ecu, dizzy needs rewiring and the injectors. you can use the obd0 injectors if you keep the resistor box, or use the obd1 injectors and get rid of the box and splice the obd1 injector clips to the harness. since youre running the p30 (i think is obd1) you probably have the ecu conversion harness

it keeps throwing a knock sensor code.... this motor doesn't have a knock sensor.... how do i stop it from throwing codes like this?? and if i went to a pr3 ecu would it affect the car seeing as its an obd1 car?

I think Pin D3 is the knock sensor wire, Just ground it out. OR you could have your ecu chipped and get the Knock sensor disabled...or get a chipped p28 with a p30 map since the p28 doesnt have the knock board on the ECU.

You cut the wire coming from D3 and extend it, to somewhere you can ground it out on your chassis and reconnect the ecu after you are done.
