i have a virgin p30 in there now... and if you'd like to come ride in my car we can take it to 5500 all day long and i can prove you wrong... it engages at 6k.
now, your posts in this thread have had nothing to do w/ the subject at hand... so im going to nicely ask you to either contribute to the thread or just dont post.
and a "frankenstein" is stock.
not stock- "any aftermarket parts installed"
what youre talking about is called a hybrid.
STOCK oem b16 head
STOCK oem b18 bottom end.

If your P30 is completely stock, VTEC is at 5800. Take it to the rev limiter to see how far your tach is off... A JDM P30 will go to 8300 while a USDM P30 will cut at 8100.
