well the fresh rebuilt engine fell through so I order the rebuild video I think I will do it myself or send it out to pineapple racing they are great from what I here and there prices arent all that bad either.
I'm contemplating stupifying my way through a rebuild. I would just need to send out my housings to be ported. If you get the video, I'll really give some thought to doing mine as well. Do you want to get a rental garage somewhere to do it? I'm getting one to put my car in to install the new motor, turbo kit, clutch, etc in the next month at least.

If you bring the housings up to richmond, I am sure we can help you out with porting if you get new housings (or one new one). Check out the Richmond RX-7 Owners thread in the NE section of the rx7club forum, Zach and RGordon (Robin) rebuilt his motor for his 87 TII and it runs....of course he spent close to 2K on the motor (new housings, bits and pieces and all...)

My engine builder finally got with me. So, I might have someone else doin the work. It's the guy that runs Rotary Works. He's a pretty cool guy and I've heard alot of good stuff about his work. He has great prices and does full custom orders.

I want to get a place in long term at the hobby shop and do mine. I think I will give Randy a call I am getting tired of renting cars and shit. My roommate gets his car back soon he also blew his engine up.

I kinda just want to get a new car but keep the 7 and fix it slowly on the weekends. I dont know I have no idea what the hell I am going to do. I will let you know when I find out.

I have a second car that I'm driving and just fixing the 7 on the side. I don't know if you've heard, but I have a whole bunch of goodies in store. I'll PM you...

driving this piece of shit rental around makes me see how fast my car really was. I am renting a nissian sentra and let me tell you p.o.s. this car could get out of its own way. I put it on the g-tech today runs a 17.09 in the 1/4 and makes 89hp at thw wheels. I think my chevette I had in hihg school could kick this cars ass.

Does AutoSolution warranty their rebuilds? Rotary Works warranties any rebuild they do. Although, the more radical the build, the less warranty time there is.
