weird speaker?
the other day all day long my back right speaker would make this high pitch whistling sound that would increase pitch with my rpms, it drove me crazy so i shut the cd player off...well yesterday i played it all day with no problems and today it just came on at a stop light. could this be a short in my wire, someone mentioned a ground being bad on the speaker? could it just be going bad or what. any help would really be good

Re: weird speaker?
A noise suppressor isn't going to do anything, it's only one speaker so it isn't a noise pickup issue on your power or ground. You've got a bad ground, or if you have an amp, you're picking up noise in the cable of that channel only.

pull the speaker out and make sure that the wires are hooked up tight to the terminals. and that there are no frays in the wire. if any of the wire is showing and touching metal the speaker is grounding out.

Re: weird speaker?
after market radio or stock also are the speakers factory or aftermarket...in either case check the connections on the speaker itself, unplug and re-plug them and see if that worked , also check for any loosr wire strands that could be touching metal on the rear deck, it only takes one wire shard to cause the speaker to make that whining noise, ive had this experience one time and that was because one of my butt connectors had came loose behind the cd player itself and a small piece of wire just happend to be touching a ground point....check both of these spots
