Ok, my friend bought a small 16g for his prelude, he was wondering if he could buy a smaller, I guess you could say, wastegate that doesn't boost past like 9psi. I have no idea since it's internally wastegated...does anyone know where he could buy a actuator or what he can do to limit the boost?

 

go buy a boost controller and your problems will be solved

 

a boost controller won't let you lower the boost below the wastegate spring pressure

you need a diff wastegate spring

 

Isnt a stock mitsu 16g internal gate set to 8-9psi?

 

yes
run a vacuum line from the wastegate to the outlet of the turbo. boom -solid 8psi

 

you can buy actuators for garrett turbos down to 5psi, but you'll need to do a bit of fabricating to mount them to a mitsu comp. housing.
