What model of eg do you have? That would be a little helpful.

I m not completely sure but I believe you can use the vx harness and ecu. You would also have to wire the Vtec

why are you putting it in your car? If it's for fuel economy I don't understand why you would put the z6/y8 intake manifold on it.

You'll need the correct ecu (p07) for the motor to run correct and wire it for it's 5-wire 02 sensor. There are also egr related plugs you'll need from the vx harness. There is also a black egr box that attaches to the firewall you'll need.

I had one of these in my old EF and I averaged 45-50 mpg

Check out this thread on honda-tech: http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1509265, it should help you out.

I got the motor for a good price, for some reason i thought it would maybe make it easier with a different IM manifold.

Do you think it would be easier to just get a VX harness?

and thanks for the link.

having the harness would be nice but not necessary. you can find compatible plugs for the egr and use those. since you already are wired for vtec you would just have to wire the 5-wire o2 sensor after that. here is a link with pictures of what the egr plugs look like http://www.gassavers.org/showthread.php?t=1546, you'll have to scroll a few images down. Search "d15z1" on that site and you will find a ton of info.
