No B. Its a K03 sport and it is small. But I get full boost by about 2200 RPM and boost is instant when hitting the throttle while cruising.

What the F*$!, Dont give this guy advice if you have no Idea what your talking about. Sure you can go and buy the hks or blitz or some other loud ass bov, but when you add the diverter kit most of that sound goes away. The reason you should use a Diverter valve, yes I said DV. Is that you must recirc. the bypassed pressure back into the intake track on the newer VW's,
if not, 9 out of 10 times you will trip up the MAF and start freakin' out the ecu. So alternatives are to go with the N75 DV, which is for the Audi TT, which will run you under 75 bucks and hold a bit more boost(up to 1.1-1.3bar) or go with one from forge for about 125-160 depending on how resourceful you are. The forge unit is what comes with APR's Stage III kit which is good for over 290hp at the flywheel. So boost is no a problem with that unit. If you have anymore Q's let me know. I am in the process of doing a full build up on my buddy's '03 GTI 20th ANN.(Imola Yellow) Stage III, FMIC, Full Tubo back exhaust.. I shouldn't be doing this stuff, because he will be able to Wax My 91 Hatch!!!

there is a difference in the N75 and the DV. They are not one-and-the-same as you stated. The N75 is VW's part # for the wastegate by-pass regulator valve. This valve is responsible for controlling the movement of the pneumatic actuator which drives the wastegate. Under normal operating conditions the engine's ECU sends signals to the N75 valve asking it to open or close which adds or reduces pressure on the wastegate actuator which results in more or less boost. The second part you confused as being one, the Audi TT DV can be found for around $25 online easily. If you have no idea what you're talking about don't post. Apparently Heat knows more about VWs that you do. I wouldn't let you work on mine. There are plenty of VW owners who choose BOV's over DVs. Get your shit straight!!!

I agree get your shit straight.. But one correction.. its an audi part.

Why is this thread still going? just get a forge 007 dv.. 135 isnt much, and you'll still get some sound if thats what your looking for. And its definately better than the stock piece.
