Hey i just bought a 97 jetta and the speedo doesnt work and the auto trany has a few problems. I found a rebuilt one for 750. How much of a hedache is it to swap them out? Im asking this because im used to working on hondas and was wondering if there is anything i should look out for.

 

i own a 96 passat and i had to swap out the 5 speed tranny and it wanst fun at all no room and odd angles have fun watch ur elbows

 

pull the whole motor to do it, its way easyer in the long run
