Default Valve tapping

I just got an EG hatch and it has a B16 swap in it and type R cams. It has noticeably loud valve tapping and I was wondering if it's because they swaped for type R cams but kept the B16 valvetrain. Any input is appreciate. And should I just adjust the rocker arms/valves?

Yeah, I figured they might not have been adjusted. Thanks for the input.

P.s. What happens if I adjust them in inches?

That's a lot less than I figured. So, basically, I have two options:
1. Adjust once every 10 months or so, or;
2. Replace stock B16 valve springs with Type R springs?

I mean, upgrading to a whole TYPE R Valve train wouldn't be a bad idea.

However, brand new aftermarket parts aren't that expensive. Go search on Honda-tech for some build parts or hondamarketplace.com they usually have Honda heads selling shit for crackhead prices because half of them have lawyers to pay for or girls pregnant haha

Lmao. I appreciate it, bro. I love how hard the VTEC pops with the Type R cams.

I loved my ITR cams as well, when I was N/A B16. They made a world of a difference up top.

But I damn sure did hate having to keep adjusting, then again my B16 head was tired.
