vafc
i have been having problems with the gas milage in my car and this last time i checked it was at about 20mpg, i have a b18c in a civic and the last time i checked no hondas had sucky gas milage like that. i was woundering if it could be the tuning on my vafc, it came in the car so i have no idea how its tuned i just know vtec comes in at 5100 and its running rich, i just dont know how rich, i waswoundering if i unplug it will it take my ecu back to factory settings so that i can see if the sucky gas milage is due to the tune in that thing, and if/when i go to plug it back in wil it retain the tuning that is on the vafc or will i have to have the vafc re-tuned since i unplugged it
thanx in advance for the help

Re: vafc
Yes, it is because the tuning on the VAFC is jacked up. The proper way to tune this unit is with a minimum of a wideband. Even better if tuned on the dyno.
Nope, do not unplug it, unles you reconnect the MAP sensor, VTC, and VTEC wires back to the stock configuration also. Those wires are the only ones that are not tapped. They were actually reconfigured. The rest of the wires were tapped signals.
Bring it to me.... I'll take a look at it. Hopefully, your unit was wired properly. If not, then even if I set it on "default", it may not make much difference. Keep in mind that I'm not offering to tune your VAFC. I will only set it back on default..... PM me.
