ok you have no idea what your talking about! atleast you stoped telling people to just use a switch to activate vtec!

it is easier to take the motor out to do it! IMO! I don't like working on something in the car. everything is easier to access out of the car. it is easier to hide the wiring when the motor is out. If you check honda tech you could find the prints that shows what wires need to be added, I can do it all day for obd0 and 1 but have never done it to a obd2 car. i would also recomend converting it to obd1.. HAVE FUN.

Everyone has their own opinion. It took me 1hour to change heads, 40 minutes to wire my shit up. If i took the motor out, it would have taken alot longer..

i have a y8 head forsale....let me know if you want to buy it..

this swap is easy shit

-get a y8 head ( i have one)
-get a y8 ecu, (if you convert to obd1, you can use a p28)
-wire vtechs into the harness ( a shop can do this for like $150)
-get a new timing belt/water pump/headgasket
-rent a torque wrench from advance auto
-buy a haynes manual for your car

BAM your done.

* note* if you convert to obd1, you will have to buy a obd2-obd1 conversion harness off the internet, or Fabrik8 ( search his name)
