Lightbulb V-tec conversion

I have a 98 honda civic dx, it has a D16Y7 (non V-tec). Well I want to make it V-tec. Is there a way i can do a V-tec conversion.

Get a D16y8 head and do a mini me. Let me find a honda-tech link that is really descriptive for you.

Edit: Can't find the link but lets see if i can tell you what al you need.

D16y8 head would be best....
Y8 Headgasket
Get a timing belt and water pump since your already in there
While head is off block, there is a screw that you are suppose to remove to supply more oil to the head
D16y8 Distributor
ECU for y8

I'm sure im missing some stuff, so please. someone else chime in

It's easier while its still in the car. All it is, is various lines, and taking off the intake manifold and head bolts.
