ok guys, i need some help i just got this 91 civic hatch dx (automatic) and i just so happen to have a 2000 jdm itr swap how do i convert the motor and everything to pre-obd????

 

can you do a type-R swap in a automatic???
I thought you would also have to do a 5-speed conversion as well.......as 4 converting everything to pre-obd specs....i believe you can get a skunk2 wire harness......not sure though
Can someone else back me up or set me straight.....I would like to know for sure myself......

 

maybe u can get 2 conversion harnesses 1. ob2 to 0bd1 2. ob1 to obd0 and conncet um together. its wortha try

you can make it a auto type-r..buy the auto b16 tranny, but it would be a waste

 

my thoughts exactly... you don't have to change the car to obdII to use that motor...why not change the motor to obd0...it would be much easier...all you need are obd0 injectors, obd0 distributor, and obd0 ecu
