I was wondering if it's absolutely neccasary to upgrade the injectors and fuel pump if I will be only boosting a dohc zc motor to 8lbs. Let me know guys, thanks.
i would say yes also. Save up the extra money and do it right the first time or you will be spending alot more $$ down the road when things start messing up. Even though it's "set" at 8lbs doesn't mean it could spike beyond your stock fuel system, detonate, and blow your motor.

I am just running it off the wastegate, with no boost controller, so it would be harder for it to spike. I was only going to take it for a short run up and down a street maybe 2km's, just to see that everything is set and it's running "ok". Then I was going to do the injectors, computer program, and fuel pump. Let me know if that would be ok, thanks guys.
