Default turbo setup

I was wondering if it's absolutely neccasary to upgrade the injectors and fuel pump if I will be only boosting a dohc zc motor to 8lbs. Let me know guys, thanks.

i would say yes also. Save up the extra money and do it right the first time or you will be spending alot more $$ down the road when things start messing up. Even though it's "set" at 8lbs doesn't mean it could spike beyond your stock fuel system, detonate, and blow your motor.

I am just running it off the wastegate, with no boost controller, so it would be harder for it to spike. I was only going to take it for a short run up and down a street maybe 2km's, just to see that everything is set and it's running "ok". Then I was going to do the injectors, computer program, and fuel pump. Let me know if that would be ok, thanks guys.

You just don't want to be making 8lbs with stock fuel and/or timing. So, yes you can drive but, just try to stay out of boost.
