where are you getting 15w30 rotella?

its 15w40.

run what you have been running, changing over to a synthetic will usually lead to problems later on. of course, since its now being boosted, chances are it will be scattered soon, so it really doesnt matter. oil companies got rid of the turbo oil designation with the advent of SF oil, now the standards are SG or better, meaning there is no chance of having any coking issues if you change it like you are supposed to.

10-40

turbo makes heat. better for bearings in a high-revver too.

Some companies make oil for turbo cars. I know amsoil does but amsoil is expensive and once you run it once its a bad idea to run anything else. I think quaker state actually makes a full syn turbo oil that alot of drag cars run and its supposed to be pretty good. Quaker state is usually inexpensive and can be found at almost any walmart. 5w-30 or 10w-30 is probably the best weight to use in VA because of the constant weather changes. As long as you change your oil regularly you should be fine with any oil really if its the right weight. If you decide to switch over to full syn then you also wanna keep using full syn. If your not using synthetic oil now and you switch over just to be safe do an oil change after about 1k miles of running full syn which will help flush out all the leftover non-syn stuff and your engine should run smoother. Thats just my 2-cents.

i'd recomend using a good quality oil just a little heavier than what you do normally. maybe like 10w40 or something. the key is to change it often by doing so you'll extend the life of well...just about everything. i run royal purple 5w30 but that's for my all motor f22. i'm sticking with it and change it often. these two (in your case) are the two most important things you can possibly do.
