Ok, i started pulling the oil lines (i assume) and oil started to leak out... will this just be what is left in there from before?

Re: Turbo install hints/tips?
Yeah, I got done replacing the injectors, wastegate spring and the FPR today. It wasn't oil coming out, it was the water line so water was, I am guessing i just plug it until it is attached and sealed to the new turbo?
All I have left to do is the turbo itself, oil and water lines and the fuel pump.

Re: Turbo install hints/tips?
This is harder than i thought, still no turbo installed, and one of my new water lines broke when i was tightening it, no good.
Also one of the water lines is next to impossible to get out, its all disconnected, but now it's gonna be an ass pain to get off, PLUS the oil outlet line is too short, even after clocking the turbo!
Lastly the fuel pump is so different to the one I have to replace it, absolute nightmare overall.

Made for the car... I have seen it installed on others but I think that my lack of experience doing shit like this, and an unfortunate weak fitting made this install a LOT harder than it should have been.

Blood sweat and tears this motherfucker is nearly done, anyone know whether when you prime the turbo with oil you have to use the same brand etc, or just a little of something else would do?
