Re: Turbo h22
780cc's are way overkill. Even a set of 450cc's will be fine, but like stated before, it's all about how it's managed. Someone mentioned ringlands, all H/F blocks had poor ringlands, probably just Honda's in general. Make sure you've got a proper crankcase ventilation system and the compression numbers are optimal. Start with a good base motor before upping the ante.
Oh and 300hp will be an easy goal at a streetable boost setting. Anymore than 10-12psi and you're playing with fire on a stock block.

I dont really feel like reading though the entire thread, But spooln H22 on here had a pretty similar basic set up. I believe he made 238 on 7 psi. If you think your going to make over 300 on a stock boosted h22 your nuts. His car lasted maybe a month the way it was. Now its built, from the botton to the top. With a 60-1 made 350 at ~13psi. Had problems holding boost due the the 38mm wastegate and shitty drag manifold. With a 44mm wg and a tubular mani he is expecting to run 20+ psi and expects well over 400. We'll see. Pm him if you have any questions. He knows plenty and all the problems you can run into, and how much it all costs, hence the like 3 year build haha.

Re: Turbo h22
I have seen the same setup on a stock h22 do 12 pounds easy 300 wheel hp. If you are located in VA or richmond area, get Matt Shoe to tune it with crome, cause thats a crazy system, i havent heard anything bad about it, Matt does a great job, he is doing my ecu with crome. I have a h23 that im turboing right now, just waiting on a turbo and mani. 8 pounds stock the h22 will do safe tuning 14 maybe havent seen more then 12 pounds. if you want to know more info on the turbo specs I probably can help you out, i know a few things about those engines.

That is enough. If you would like to continue the bickering back and forth, be my guest, just not on this forum in the manner that you did in this thread.
