Default turbo a d15

I'm wondering what would be the best motor tranny setup to run around 15lbs of boost on a d15 without ruining anything

What motor setup and tranny you say???

Sure as fuck ain't a d15. Swap in a b-series on 6/8lbs and call it a day for what you are looking for. You boost a stock d-series on that much boost, it'll blow up very fast.

Dude ur best bet is to run like 6 pounds on a d series, if its a b7 or b2 and that's pushing it. U would wanna upgrade ur clutch also to maybe a stage 2, on a oem clutch Ull slip when boost kicks in, if u have a d15b vtec u can run about 10 with upgradeed fuel pump, injectors, and a good tune. Hope this helps out

just put a Y8/Z6 head on it and use a vtec ecu. no reason to halfass boost that thing because it's just gonna blow up and you'll have another thread asking for help. throw an EX tranny on it and it should be good to go. hell of a lot more reliable.

There's a reason no one does; because B series is cheaper, easier, and way more efficient.

The Only effort you should put into a D series, is pulling it out.
