I have never had my car tuned, and it will be boosted next week. Whats involved? Do they make mechanical adjustments, or do they tune from the ecu?

How much is it going to cost me to get my car tuned to handle 8 psi daily driven? D16z6 in 89 hatch...

the correct way to do it is to tune the fuel maps and the ignition timing in the ecu itself. get larger injectors and call me up ill help you out.

 

a tune can involve anything you want. set cam gears, fuel pressure, ignition and injector maps, blablabla.

 

not trying to get flamed, but I have never boosted a car, and I have never had a car tuned. Ya, I'm the guy who bought the turbo from you...

I will have everything I need by next week...

 

What size injectors should I get for a small turbo? Will stock injectors work at all?
