Tune Port
well here is the prob... i got the hole tune port injection sys i wana run on my motor but its going in a 88-s10 so its not exactily wired for it... i found one ecu and wireing kit fro the motor that basicly runs it and it all mounts in the fire wall but its 900.oo freaking $`s i also wana run a t3 on the motor ... but i need a ecu controler something to change the air fuel mixture... so the turbo dosent make me lean out ... also is the msd boost box needed for only 7lbs ... its for retarding the timeing but isent that only for high amounts of boost?.... any help would be nice i done see paying 900 for a stupid ecu and a few wires

go to the junkyard and pull an ecu out of a tpi 3rd gen f-body, still gotta buy the wiring harness though. Don't know about the fuel situation, what about a stand alone system?
and what motor? lb9 or l98?

neather motor .... it came of a 80`s camaro from what i was told but its going on a 87 one pice seal built roller lower end im guna have the heads ported and put roller rockers on them thats it as fare as for the top end .. so im gueing its kind of like a l98 set up? "what about a stand alone system" exactily but who makes one that will work with the tune port and how much i couldent find one

You should check out the Microtech LT8/LTX8. The main system is $650 (before group buy prices) and the accessories aren't much more. It's a totally independant stand alone system and comes with the harness. You'd just need a laptop to tune it. If you want to know more, go to www.team140.net
