Tranny Stabilizer..2nd time fixing in 1 month
I have a 99 SI, i bought it with 87k on it and now im reaching 100..of course im expecting some problems but this just doesnt seem right. A month ago my tranny stabilizer bushing went, and along the nut and bolt came out with it. Fixed it, shifting was precise...well later on today shifting got sloppy and i pulled over and once i pulled off to the side the stabilzer fell off AGAIN. This time just the nut and bolt and the bushing is fine.
I know it can happen by beating on the car but i never bang through the gears in this car, i learned the hardway on my mustang and ate the synchros up. So therefore im takin it easy on this car and driving it the right way..what could cause this to keep comming up? I dont know much about hondas and im learning, maybe there is a certain bolt to go into this?
By the way...its the bushing that connects to the tranny to put it into gear.

use a self locking nut is one option. or run one nut up on the bolt and follow behind it with another nut option two .either way should work
