Default tranny rebuild shops

i was wondering if anyone knows of any shops that rebuild transmissions. Could you all tell me any prices you have heard from people haveing to rebuild transmissions. my situation is i got a h22 tranny that 3rd gear doesnt go into in 3rd gear and if i am going to pay money to fix the tranny i want to know i shoudl get the whole thing rebuilt?

I would atleast put in a new set of bearings and synchros. Then inspect for damaged or worn parts and replace as needed.

Do you know a ball park range of what a shop could charge for something like that?

If you take it to a shop...don't forget to take your bank account too. Most shops are in the business to make money, so to find one that will do anything for a good price is like asking santa clause to bring you a JDM front clip.

The thing to do is to get someone who knows something about honda trannies, and ask him to help you out.

Lol yea i dont think you could have said it any better and thats what i am afraid of but i mean if i am going to fix it i would like to have a completly fresh tranny that i know hasnt been ragged on
