If you want some big cheap tires to burn up PEPBOYS FUTRA SPECIALS THEY ARE ABOUT 89.00 A TIRE. I wouldnt road race with them but I had 275/50/17 for 89$. The biggest they have is 315/50/15.

well regardless of the weight of the tire, it seems they are the tire of choice right now. besides, I'm not to concerned with that..as long as they roll...plus I only paid $286 shipped for them.

Chahonda,
I am looking to get 275/40/17 for the rear if I can clear them with the drag springs, or maybe 265/40/17. I am pretty sure that those springs will not lower my car any, or at least I hope they will not lower it that much. I have 235/45/17 all the way around now. I think that I am going to stay with that size for the front. They are just entirely to small for the rear with a 3:73 and a 2:95 1st gear.

I got the hook-up on tires through work, we deal with Heafner Itco Tires. They do not sell Nitto's though, so if you have any hookups on those let me know. PM or Just give me shout at work.

I have a set of bridgestone potenza's, yeah rollin on stock 14, but they have larger sizes for lower profile tires too. Sticky, long lasting, AND they their pretty cheap too. I think that bridgestone is running the buy 3 get one free things too!

what is your tire height with a 17inch rim? I use 28x10.5x15 with 373 gears.

The height on a 275/40/17 is 25.70'', on a 235/45/17 its 25.4'', not that much difference.
I am worried about the width, it goes up to like 10'' for a 275/40/17, and I do not want to have to cut the fender underlip to make them fit. I have seen your car at Jr's, do your tires hit at all?
Didn't you have drag springs and they did hit?

Yes I had to flip the quad shock to get them in, the widest tires ive had are 11 inch i also had to role the fender lip so it wouldnt cut the tires. I have drag springs and shocks. I cant have alot of weight in the back cause the car bottoms out.
