ight my friend has a 97 prelude that is tiptronic and is thinking about swaping it to manual and gettin a jspec h22 with the motor the trans and the ecu how much would the swap cost to switch it from triptronic to manual and put in the motorw and ecu and everything

 

Tiptronic? They did paddle shift in Preludes? I never knew that, how long did that last..?

 

that would be a big negative.

 

i no its in his 97 year but i dont no how long it lasted, its not like paddels it looks jus like an auto except u can hit it over and drop gears, shift with it , etc.

 

Sooo it's not a Tiptronic.. it's a manual shifted auto.

 

its not a BMW. its a standard auto with a manual shifter portion.

 

yea i guess, but any ways how much do u think it would cost to switch it over to manual

 

any real help on how bad it would be to do a swap

 

the same as swapping an engine/tranny in. mother fuck....
