Default throwing in the towel

My car is a 1998 honda civic, D16z P+p head comp cam stage 2,str 570 cam gear, 4-2-1 header, vafc,p28 ecu, refurbished distributor, all sensor fittings are also now obd1. So, I think I have used a lot of money just on it. Car still threw a code 9 "cylinder positioning" so I took out the distribtor and attempted to put it together once agian. Now, the darn thing wont even crank over. I dunno but finding a 1994 civic ex distributor is hard to find.

How much time and cost it will be in an independent shop will I need?

nah, the head was a d16z. the bottom end is a 1998 d16y7 bottom end. the head was bought by a shop(wouldn't say a name, nor name of person who has sold it to me, so they wont be labeled) But if they did SELL ME THE RIGHT CYLINDER HEAD it would have saved me a lot of grief.

No hunting for a 1993-1995 civic ex distributor, wasted d16y8 intake manifold, intake and exhaust gaskets, sensor fitting and so much more. Just because of the cylinder head. On top of that, I have to cut down my insurance just to save enough money to have it fixed.

Sorry guys, But I feel better when I vent my frustration.

I like the offer, but I don't have the distributor, nor the distributor fitting for the obd2, anymore. I will definitely keep it as a last option, though. I guess I still have to bring it to an independent shop to see if they can fix it. Man so much money wasted, I guess they call this "live and learn."
