throttle bodies
i just recently found out that u can put basically and size Bseries TB on a y8 IM.....so i was just wondering is the bigger the better true in this case? or will too big a TB hurt my HP

it doesnt really increase HP as much as one would think. Its more for throttle response... The best throttle bodies to get are:
b20=60mm
type R=62mm
5.0 mustang=65 mm
that last one sounds funny but it does fit.

I had a 98 h22 throttle body on my y8 and it did great. i also bored out my intake opening to match the size of the throttlebody(62mm)
the y8 responded very well to the larger throttle body

its 1985-1992 5.0 mustang throttle bodies. It should fit the B series manifold since both D series and B series throttle bodies are interchangable. Chahonda: if you wanna try this shit out lemme know. Ive got published books that say its the hot shit and it works... ive done alot of research on the web and it has identical bolt patterns and sensor clips...worth a shot.
